Foggy Fork Farm Cascading Monsoon 2*P
Barn name- Moni
G6S Normal by testing
26" at 4.5 years
Now resides in South Carolina- retained 2 daughters.
Monsoon is our herd queen, she is a very nice girl. Monsoon is a dream to milk- streams like fire hoses, milks out quick, makes a TON of milk, and her teats are bigger around- it just makes it easier to hand milk her!! Maybe not show ideal- but homestead ideal for sure!! Monsoon's foreudder attachments were decent as a first freshener, but had worsened with her 2nd freshening. Strangely her foreudder attachments as a 3rd freshener look MUCH better than as a 2nd freshener. Her daughter has a well attached udder as do her mom & grand dams. Monsoon on the 2020 305 day milk test top 10 list was #2 in BF wt & #1 in BF %. Her daughter Tilly was also on the 2020 305 day milk test top 10 list was #2 in BF %, as well as the 2021 305 day milk test top 10 list was #4 in BF wt & #1 in BF %.
Monsoon comes from a very dairy line of Mini Nubians whose breeder bases her line off of their milk production. Monsoon's dam does have her milk star(*P), as does her sire's dam (2*P). Monsoon's dam was in MDGA's 2018 top 5 for % Butterfat (#3).
