Our last Kunekune girl
Ducky is our only pig left. Ariel and Calypso went to a new farm with a wonderful family and Bubbles passed away in Dec '23.
Barn Cats
Nermal and Rabies were our only barn cats for several years. we added Misty & Monkey in 2021
all are fixed. We sometimes have strays show up as well.
Livestock Guardians
Luna is 7/8 Spanish Mastiff and 1/8 Pyrenean Mastiff born in 2019 that came from a breeder in Idaho. Luna LOVES her goats & pig but is is more reserved with strangers and quicker to react if one of her charges is upset.
Orion is a purebred Spanish Mastiff born in ‘25 that came from a breeder in VA. He is still a (big) puppy, but is being raised by Luna, and so far he is doing great with the goats.
We lost Fuzzy on 6/22/24, He was an excellent guardian for years here and is much missed. Drax who came from a pet situation at 10 month old was returned to his breeder at 20 month old for mauling 2 goats (broke both shoulder blades on one and the other had deep wound on her neck and shoulder). He is a farm dog at the breeders and not kept with stock.
